1. About Angicoo
This website and online store are operated by Angicoo. In these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), “Angicoo”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating www.angicoo.com (the “Site”).
You can contact us using the details set out in Section 19.
2. Application of These Terms
These Terms apply when you access or use the Site and when you place an order with us. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy also apply to your order. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we process personal data.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use the Site in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of another person;
- provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
- introduce viruses, malicious code or other material that could damage or interfere with the Site;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, customer accounts or connected systems;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy or extract content from the Site without our written permission; or
- use the Site for unauthorised commercial resale or fraudulent activity.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for providing accurate, current information. Please contact us promptly if you believe that your account has been used without permission.
We may restrict or suspend access to the Site where reasonably necessary to protect customers, prevent fraud, maintain security or address a breach of these Terms.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Information about cookies and your available choices is provided through our Privacy Policy and the cookie or privacy controls on the Site.
4. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, materials, colours and other information on the Site are accurate.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and lighting conditions. Products made from leather, suede or other natural or hand-finished materials may have small variations in colour, grain or surface character. These natural variations are not faults where the product remains consistent with its description.
Measurements are approximate. For footwear, please review the relevant size information before ordering. A size guide is intended to assist with selection but cannot guarantee the same fit for every person.
Product availability may change. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for that item.
Goods supplied by us must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms affects those statutory rights.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable UK taxes where required. Delivery charges, if any, will be shown before you complete payment. Current delivery charges and thresholds are also explained in our Shipping Policy.
We may change prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method selected and that the billing information you provide is accurate.
We take reasonable care to display prices correctly. If we discover an obvious pricing or description error before accepting your order, we will contact you. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order. If we cannot contact you, we may cancel the affected item and refund any payment already taken.
6. Placing and Accepting Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket. Please review your order, delivery address and contact information before submitting it.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not mean that we have accepted it. A contract between you and Angicoo is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email for the relevant products.
We may be unable to accept an order for a reasonable reason, including:
- a product being unavailable;
- payment not being authorised;
- delivery restrictions applying to the address provided;
- an obvious error in the price or product information;
- reasonable suspicion of fraud or unauthorised activity; or
- quantities suggesting unauthorised commercial resale.
If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any payment already taken for the affected products.
If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to cancel it before it enters the delivery process. If it has already been dispatched, we may be unable to intercept the parcel, but you may still exercise any applicable cancellation or return rights after receiving it.
7. Delivery
We currently deliver only to addresses within the United Kingdom. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, BFPO addresses or freight-forwarding service addresses.
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days. Once dispatched, most orders are normally delivered within approximately 5–8 business days. The overall estimated timeframe is therefore approximately 6–11 business days from the date the order is placed. These timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees.
Delivery may be affected by courier delays, adverse weather, public holidays, peak demand, traffic disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a significant delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and help resolve the issue.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.
We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you, to a person identified by you to receive them, or to another delivery location agreed with you. Please notify us promptly if tracking shows an order as delivered but you cannot locate it.
Further details, including delivery charges, tracking and delayed or missing parcels, are set out in our Shipping Policy.
8. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
For most products purchased online, you have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason. This right generally begins when the contract is formed and ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
To exercise this right, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period ends. You can email support@angicoo.com.
After notifying us of a statutory cancellation, you should return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us that you wish to cancel.
Angicoo also offers an additional 30-day return arrangement for eligible products. For non-quality-related returns requested from day 15 to day 30 after receipt, the additional conditions in our Return and Refund Policy apply. This additional arrangement does not limit your statutory rights.
For a change-of-mind, unsuitable-size or other non-quality-related return, you are responsible for the return delivery cost, as explained in our Return and Refund Policy. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.
You may inspect and try on a product as you would in a physical shop. Footwear should be tried on indoors on a clean floor. We may make a reasonable deduction from a refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the value of the product, to the extent permitted by law.
Where the statutory right to cancel applies, we will refund the price paid and any basic outbound delivery charge you paid, up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced or express delivery option is not normally refundable unless required by law.
We may withhold a statutory cancellation refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide valid evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first. We will make the refund to the original payment method within the applicable legal timeframe. Our usual processing timeframe after receipt and inspection is 1–7 business days, although your payment provider may take additional time to display the funds.
Some products may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind right, such as genuinely personalised products or sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Any relevant exclusion will be made clear before purchase. These exclusions do not remove your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
Please read our Return and Refund Policy for the full return procedure, product-condition requirements and return instructions. Do not send a return to our general contact address unless customer service has confirmed that it is the correct return address.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or is not the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at support@angicoo.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where appropriate.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund, repair or replacement. Where a return is required because a product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, Angicoo will arrange the return or cover reasonable return costs.
For qualifying faulty goods, you may have a short-term right to reject the goods within 30 days. Other rights, including repair, replacement, price reduction or a final right to reject, may apply after that period. Your legal rights are separate from and are not limited by our additional 30-day change-of-mind return arrangement.
Damage caused by accident, misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product is not treated as an inherent product fault. This does not affect any rights you may have where the product itself was defective.
10. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the relevant offer, including eligibility, validity dates, product exclusions and minimum order values.
Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code may be used per order. A discount code has no cash value and cannot be applied retrospectively to an order that has already been placed.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious error, fraud, misuse or a technical problem. This will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless the promotion was applied fraudulently or the law otherwise permits us to take action.
11. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including the Angicoo name, logos, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, page designs and software, are owned by or licensed to Angicoo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
12. Reviews and User Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- the content is based on your genuine experience where it relates to a product or service;
- you own the content or have permission to submit it;
- it does not infringe another person’s rights;
- it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, obscene or defamatory; and
- it does not contain malicious code, private information about another person or unauthorised advertising.
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant Angicoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, adapt for formatting and use that content in connection with operating and promoting Angicoo and its products.
We may moderate, decline or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, the law or another person’s rights. We will not prevent or remove a review merely because it expresses a genuine negative opinion.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment providers, delivery partners and social media platforms. Those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or practices of a third-party website that we do not control. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party. This does not exclude responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude, including responsibility for third parties acting on our behalf where applicable.
14. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of your statutory rights relating to products; or
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.
We supply products for private and domestic use. If you use a product for a commercial, business or resale purpose, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, contracts, opportunity or business interruption, except where the law does not allow that responsibility to be excluded.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or operational reasons. This does not affect your rights in relation to an order that we have accepted.
15. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, network failure, industrial action, government action or disruption to essential suppliers or carriers.
If such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, keep you informed and arrange a revised delivery where appropriate. If there is a substantial delay, you may have the right to cancel and receive a refund for products not provided. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal obligations. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
The Terms that apply to a purchase are those in effect when the relevant order is accepted. A later change will not retrospectively alter the terms of an order that we have already accepted, unless the change is required by law or you agree to it.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract between you and Angicoo are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in England or Wales, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in either the Scottish courts or the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in either the Northern Irish courts or the courts of England and Wales.
If you live outside the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections available under the law of your country of residence, where applicable. However, Angicoo currently delivers only to addresses within the United Kingdom.
18. General Legal Terms
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect.
If we delay enforcing a right under these Terms, that does not mean that we have waived it. A waiver is effective only if we confirm it clearly.
We may transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example as part of a business reorganisation or sale, provided that this does not reduce your rights. You may transfer your rights only where the law permits or where we agree in writing.
No person other than you and Angicoo has a right to enforce these Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
These Terms, together with the order confirmation and the policies expressly referred to in them, set out the agreement between you and Angicoo concerning your order. Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud or prevents you from relying on statements or rights that applicable consumer law makes binding.
